Please Conserve Water
The recent high temperatures and low rainfall are creating a challenge for our water system, especially during peak usage hours. We have already hit record usage numbers in Willow Creek Farms this year. While the hot dry conditions continue, we encourage all residents to be water wise.
Wholesale changes are not required, but little things can go a long way to maintaining water pressure throughout the system. Here are a few quick tips:
Irrigate over night rather than in the morning or early evening hours.
Turn off the sink while shaving or brushing teeth.
Shorten shower time.
Patronize a local car wash instead of doing it in the driveway.
Hold off on power washing until we get a little rain.
And, if it's yellow, let it mellow, if it's brown, flush it down!
These small changes may help us avoid mandatory ones that could be required if we continued to see high water use.
